Privacy Policy

It is important to us to protect personal data and responsibly handle the information provided by users of our landing page, www.amf-bruns.de. AMF-Bruns GmbH & Co. KG (AMF-Bruns) processes personal data exclusively in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations, including but not limited to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). As the purpose of our landing page is to provide information, personal data will only be processed to the extent necessary for the technical delivery, stability and security of the web service. It is not used for any further purposes, such as analysis, tracking or marketing. The landing page links to the other AMF-Bruns websites. The relevant privacy policies can be found on the respective websites.

2. Visit to the landing page

When you visit our landing page, certain information may be automatically logged by the hosting service provider for technical reasons when you access the landing page (e.g. IP address, browser type, operating system, time of access). This data is used solely to ensure technical operation of the website and to avert threats, and is automatically deleted after a short period of time. It is not merged with other data.

The legal basis for this data processing is our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and usability of our website, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

3. Transfer of personal data to third parties

We only transfer personal data to third parties insofar as this is necessary to provide our landing page or is required by law in this context. For the purposes specified here, personal data is forwarded to the service providers that work for us and in particular help us to provide our services. These service providers are bound by the statutory obligation to comply with all data protection provisions, and we also impose additional contractual obligations relating to data protection on them. This includes in particular an obligation as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Specifically, we share personal data with the following categories of service providers, insofar as this is necessary for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy:

  • IT service and infrastructure, web design; and
  • IT support and maintenance.

Apart from that, we only transfer personal data to other recipients if we are legally permitted to do so or you have consented to this in advance. Any consent granted may be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

4. Erasure of your personal data

We delete your personal data as soon as its processing is no longer necessary for the purposes explained in this Privacy Policy. If and as long as deletion is contrary to statutory retention obligations, we limit the processing of your data to this archiving purpose (data blocking) and delete your data upon expiry of the retention period.

5. Your rights

As a data subject of the above-mentioned data processing, you have the following rights under the respective statutory requirements:

  • the right to confirmation as to whether we are processing data relating to your person (Art. 15 GDPR); 
  • the right to access your personal data processed by us and to obtain a copy of the data (Art. 15 GDPR);
  • the right to rectification in the event that your personal data is inaccurate (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • the right to erasure of your personal data (Art. 17 GDPR);
  • the right to restriction (blocking) of your personal data (Art. 18 GDPR);
  • and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

If your personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1)  (f) GDPR, you may also object to the processing in question under the conditions of Art. 21 (1) GDPR by sending an e-mail to info@amf-bruns.de.

You also have the right to contact the competent data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

6. No automated individual decision-making

Your personal data will not be used for automated individual decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 (1) GDPR.

7. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may need to amend this Privacy Policy as a result of new legal requirements, corporate decisions and technical developments. The Privacy Policy will be amended accordingly. You can always find the latest version on our landing page.
